Our Top Five Hidden Gem Recommendations
After a solid 9 months on the road & over a year & half of living in our Off-roading tiny house, we've got a few places that google didn't recommend, that we say is worth a look!

First up is Grand Falls, Painted Desert Arizona
At 185 feet (56 meters) tall, it's taller than Niagara Falls! My favorite part about this spot is that you can literally walk right up to the edge of the water and feel the power of the falls from the bottom OR the top! We also love that this water fall is its on its own time...It only falls 3 months out of the year (March thru May) when the snow from Colorado melts into the Colorado River and flows all the way down to AZ. It's Nic-named "The Chocolate Waterfall" because of the muddy color of the water, but trust me, its still gorgeous.
.
Bear Lake is a natural freshwater lake on the Idaho-Utah border in the Western United States. About 109 square miles (280 km2) in size, it is split about equally between the two states.
Water so clear it looks like glass. On the off season its a deadline to tourist and makes you feel like you've discovered your own territory
.
Google it, now! Surrounded by 13 wooded acres, this is a treehouse lovers paradise!
Its pricey for "glamping", but it's totally worth the experience!
Truly one of a kind.
*Heads up, no indoor plumbing*
.
this is an outdoor sauna!
Maybe one of the coolest architectural structures I've seen in the US.
Its a free (with reservation) & a quick experience (as far as what you can do in an afternoon), but totally worth a look!
Feels like you're some place in Korea
.
West Virginia as a whole is a hidden gem to me. It gets over looked because of its "backwoods" or "hick" stereotype, but man is it a gorgeous state & this state park doesn't disappoint!
